Let’s Get 2020 Started!!

Believe it or not this was my first time in Gran Canaria actually riding a bike for the majority of the trip. We had planned to do it around 7 years ago but I was too young and the hills were far too steep for me to be riding every day. However, being older and stronger now than I was then, I was excited to get this training period under way and get some solid training in the bag for the 2020 season with Urbano Cycling Team! Safe to say I absolutely loved racing a different style of racing and a new challenge which I felt like I needed to show my worth, which, I feel I have done. Josh, one of the guys staying out in Calpe for a lengthy 2 months, was told to sit down and wait by the waitress. Oh how he was pissed about that and kept reminding us for days after. Mixing Training with GCSEs #hard

I recently got a new coach, just after Christmas and I was, I do admit, slightly cautious, as I have experienced in the past, new coaches being very different. But I think it has been for the best as my previous coach had been offered a contract as a Sport Scientist at U23 Dimension Data! Which will increase the links that Trainsharp already have and widening their circle even further. Continue reading “Mixing Training with GCSEs #hard”
